Question: Since successful surgery, I have a lot of leg cramps at night. Is this common and what will help?

Answer: Leg cramps may come from steroid withdrawal. It is also important to make sure that the serum electrolytes are normal and that the function of other hormones, such as thyroid hormone levels are normal.
