The CARES Foundation has been meeting with legislators across the US to discuss their support of national legislation recommending Emergency Medical Services (EMS) protocols addressing adrenal insufficiency. To follow up after these meetings, CARES would like to show legislators that many EMS personnel in their state do not recognize adrenal crisis or are not educated on adrenal insufficiency.
