I have hypertension induced by the tumor on my adrenal gland. I have been on medication for about a month. Several increases and now a beta blocker. The bp goes up and down. We are trying to manage before surgery. I would think it would be lower but I realize until the tumor is out my bp is going to remain elevated. I just fear they won’t do the surgery if not managed better. Any suggestions would be helpful

Hi, I remember going into surgery being very worried about “not passing” the pre-op requirements. I had raging hypertension as well. Hopefully the risk:benefit ratio will be in your favor. Your health history probably paints the picture of the hypertension being caused by the tumor, and successful removal of the tumor will resolve it.

    Good luck!
