CORTISOL SUMMIT 2025: PHOENIX INFORMATION

Phoenix is the capital city of Arizona, positioned centrally in the lower half of the state approximately equidistant between California, Mexico, and New Mexico.

Phoenix is surrounded by the desert and it’s not far from many amazing natural phenomena:  gorgeous rock formations, cactus of all sorts, with the desert starting just beyond the city.  It’s 3 hours south of Sedona, AZ, a couple of hours from the Sonoran Desert, and surrounded by many Native Reservations.

It’s amazingly hot in Phoenix in the Summer!  The Fall, Spring, and some of the Winter as well. November averages for the past four years don’t yield much of an average, but it gives you an idea of what to expect:

The closest airport is Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport – PHX.  The airport is a little more than six miles southeast of our conference area around Barrow Neurological Institute.

Unfortunately there are no hotel shuttles from the airport, but there is a public transportation option that includes one train-to-train transfer and up to 15 minutes of walking.  To explore the Trip Planner, click here:
