Adrenal cancer is a rare adrenal tumor that accounts for only 0.2% of deaths due to cancer. The incidence has been estimated at 2 per million people per year. However, it tends to be highly malignant and difficult to treat. Approximately 50% of these tumors are functioning and produce hormonal and metabolic syndromes leading to their discovery.
