The meeting began with a welcome and acknowledgments from Dr. Roberto Salvatori, M.D. who is a member of CSRF Medical Advisory Board. The day was attended by several Neurology staff members of John Hopkins Pituitary Center as well as a variety of patients with pituitary disorders. The day included presentations on all types of pituitary tumors, surgery, radiation, why patients should consult an eye doctor, newer medications and the psychological impact of pituitary disease. The afternoon was spent in round table discussion of different pituitary diseases.

Renee says, “I always enjoy attending these conferences; the information, networking and especially the round table discussions are all very valuable. I always go away learning something but I have to admit I’m still amazed by some of the stories from patients and their experiences having this disease.”
